Seek Then Speak Coordinator

Victoria is the Seek Then Speak Coordinator for End Violence Against Women International (EVAWI), where she oversees the implementation of an innovative new tool to support survivors of sexual assault access justice in the aftermath of violence. As a member of the team that launched Seek Then Speak in Kansas City, MO in 2022, she worked with partners in law enforcement, advocacy, prosecution and health care to pilot the tool as a way to decrease barriers for survivors who chose to engage with the criminal justice system. Victoria is thrilled to join the team at EVAWI to help partners across the country utilize Seek Then Speak in their own communities.

Prior to joining EVAWI, Victoria worked as the Director of Advocacy at the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) in Kansas City, overseeing their 24-hour Crisis Line and Advocacy services and working to improve the community’s response to survivors by training professionals and advocating for systems and policy changes. During her time at MOCSA, Victoria served on the Membership Committee of the Missouri Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, the Missouri Attorney General’s Sexual Assault Kit Initiative working group, and the Kansas Sexual Assault Response Advisory Committee. In 2022, Victoria was awarded the Visionary Voice Award by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center.
