
Toni Dias
Sergeant, Davis Police Department
Toni Dias is a Sergeant with the Davis, California Police Department, where she has been a Peace Officer for 11 years. Sergeant Dias was selected as the Davis Police Officer of the Year for 2019, serves as a team leader for the Yolo County Crisis Negotiations Team, the Yolo County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) and the Davis Police Evidence Response Team. Sergeant Dias holds a California Peace Officer Standards and Training Advanced Certificate, Robert Presley Institute of Criminal Investigation certificates in Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Investigations, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineer Technology from Sacramento State University and an MBA from the University of California at Davis.
In April of 2021 Sergeant Dias completed the 80 hour Crisis Intervention Training required in California for advocates for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She currently volunteers at an advocacy organization in Northern California, and has a passion for advocating for and supporting LGBTQI+ survivors of sexual assault, especially transgender and gender non-conforming people. If she had any free time, she would probably be riding her mountain bike in the hills of Northern California.
