Sandi Kister

Deputy District Attorney, Ninth Judicial District Attorney’s Office

A former law enforcement officer, Ms. Kister was also an adjunct professor of Criminal Justice at Salve Regina University. Ms. Kister obtained graduate degrees in Library and Information Sciences as well as the Administration of Justice prior to attendance at New England Law Boston, where she graduated Cum Laude in 2009. Ms. Kister began her prosecution career at the Middlesex County (MA) District Attorney’s office until she relocated in 2011 to Colorado to join the prosecution team of the 9th Judicial District Attorney’s office. As a member of the criminal justice system for nearly 25 years, Ms. Kister has observed the difficulties involved in victim’s reporting of sexual assaults, in law enforcement’s attempts to investigate, thoroughly, sexual assaults and in the prosecution of these types of cases.
