Samantha Caracciolo is a Certificated Paralegal and Legal Assistant at The Pride Law Firm working on behalf of survivors of child sexual abuse, sexual assault, and sexual harassment. Ms. Caracciolo is internally driven to reimagine justice and is working towards a graduate education in Public Policy. Ms. Caracciolo has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women’s Studies and a minor in Political Science from California State University San Marcos and a paralegal certification from the University of San Diego. Ms. Caracciolo has experience in non-profit organizations, Higher Education Title IX work, and in local, state, and federal government affairs and politics. Throughout her work Ms. Caracciolo has dedicated time and energy to research leading issues such as, reproductive justice, sexual violence, immigration, and racial equity. Ms. Caracciolo worked for her local Congressional office conducting research and creating plans for handling the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. She spent extensive time collecting and analyzing data to write policy analysis with her team concerning student welfare, policy changes and their effects on survivors, COVID-19, and funding for small businesses. Ms. Caracciolo worked with the Feminist Majority Foundation in Los Angeles, successfully lobbied for Senate Bill 24 to implement reproductive justice accessibility in university health centers across California. She continued her work with the Feminist Majority Foundation as their Southern California representative regarding Congressional Bill 2113 to protect the rights of immigrants, women, and girls in migrant detention centers along the U.S. Mexico border. Her focus, through her academic career and into the legal world has remained centered on equity, justice and healing for survivors of sexual violence.
