For two decades, Liz Ortenburger has been fighting for the rights of women and children. Prior to joining SafeNest in 2017, Ms. Ortenburger served in leadership positions at the Girl Scouts and the YMCA, working diligently to ensure all youth had the opportunity to thrive through experiences that helped them realize their full potential. In her current position as the CEO for SafeNest, she directs her energy and passion to ending the epidemics of domestic violence and sexual violence. From managing operations to leading strategic partnerships to implementing visionary programs and services, Ms. Ortenburger is dedicated to ensuring every survivor has the opportunity to move from crisis to confidence. Ms. Ortenburger earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration at IESE, a globally ranked business school in Barcelona, Spain, and her bachelor’s degree at California State University, Fresno.
