Kelly Hicks is an Assistant State Attorney in the 9th Judicial Circuit of Florida. After graduating with honors from Rutgers-Camden School of Law in New Jersey in 2002, Kelly was a staff attorney for Justice R. Fred Lewis on the Florida Supreme Court from 2002-2004. In January 2017, Kelly became the Chief of the Homicide Unit and the Director of Training for the 9th Judicial Circuit, and in August 2017, she added the title of Chief of the Intake Unit. She has tried over 60 first-chair felony trials, including 10 homicide trials.
