Director of Finance
Jessica Sullivan joined End Violence Against Women International (EVAWI) in 2013. In her role as Director of Finance she provides leadership, guidance, technical expertise, and team coordination in the areas of fiscal management, budget analysis, financial reporting, fiscal control, and auditing. She also manages all financial aspects of EVAWI’s federal cooperative agreements and grants as well as contracts.
In addition to these responsibilities, Sullivan manages donors, donation receipts, and acknowledgements, as well as tracking restricted funds. Payroll, benefits, taxes, licenses, and registrations are also tasks Sullivan handles in her role. EVAWI has undergone a successful independent audit every year; this is due in large part to Sullivan’s meticulous preparation and collaborative work with the auditor to ensure all EVAWI’s finances are handled appropriately.
Before EVAWI, Sullivan worked for her family’s local business, where her responsibilities included billing, accounts receivable and accounts payable, customer service, scheduling, and many other duties. She also completed both financial accounting courses locally and other professional development courses online.
Recognized as EVAWI’s Employee of the Year in 2022, Sullivan is proud to be a part of the EVAWI team, making a difference in her community and around the world.
