Jessica Pride

Sexual Assault Attorney
The Pride Law Firm

Jessica Pride is the managing attorney at The Pride Law Firm. Ms. Pride has been fighting for survivors of sexual assault for over a decade. Ms. Pride represents victims of child sexual abuse, sexual assault, and sexual harassment nationwide, and she strives to provide trauma-informed services to her clients. Ms. Pride was one of the first civil attorneys to hire a full-time, in-house victim advocate to support her clients.

Ms. Pride is passionate about helping not only her clients but the entire survivor community. She has been the President of the board of directors of Center for Community Solutions (CCS), a local domestic violence and rape crisis center since 2017 and stays current on their crisis intervention training.

Ms. Pride co-founded and is currently the co-chair of the Sexual Assault Litigation Group at the American Association of Justice (AAJ). She trains other sexual assault and abuse attorneys on how to provide trauma-informed litigation because she wants survivors to be treated in a trauma-informed manner no matter where they go for legal help.

Reimagining justice and taking steps to make those changes occur is what Ms. Pride does best. She often works with legislators to get laws passed that protect survivors. Ms. Pride spoke at the state capitol on behalf of the Patients Right to Know Act demanding that doctors who are being investigated for sexual misconduct must notify all their patients. Ms. Pride is currently tackling sexual abuse that happens in psychiatric hospitals, and she would like to see legislation passed that protects this vulnerable population which deserves a space to heal free from harm. Jessica has been a longtime fan and supporter of EVAWI. She is honored to volunteer her time and resources to present and learn at the annual conference and any other opportunity.
