Hillary England is the Administrator for the statewide Sexual Assault Survivors’ Task Force (SASTF) in the Office of Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Ms. England has 25 years of cross-sector leadership experience with over 10 years of experience in the human services field. Prior to joining the Governor’s Office, she worked for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission in the Behavioral Health Services Division, where she managed two statewide mental health programs serving adults and children. Ms. England has also worked extensively in the non-profit sector serving primarily two populations: youth and adult survivors of interpersonal violence; and youth and adolescents involved in the youth justice and/or child welfare systems. Her areas of expertise include organizational effectiveness, performance quality improvement, data-driven practice and program evaluation. Ms. England received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University and a Master of Social Work degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she completed extensive training and research in program evaluation, trauma interventions, and the theory and practice of trauma-informed care.
